A very pleasant day was spent under mostly bright sunny skies with just a few short misty rain showers. The breeze has been steady around 15 knots from ESE and a moderate SE swell has us making around 150 miles for the day with the full mainsail and jib. The cabin and sea temperatures both at 26C make things just about perfect though yet another day without catching a fish. I am now trying a plastic squid with a deep running device that keeps it several metres below the surface. Maybe tomorrow I'll try the deep runner with a 4# Barra spoon.
