Each time I think of putting out a little more sail up comes another little puff and we're again hinting at the 7 knot average. As the swells are quite large and occasionally breaking the thought of the mess that could ensue if the pole is dipped too far under the waves has me saying I can wait till morning when the seas and swell should ease somewhat. Looking ahead I may just give the scenic tour a miss, the idea being to finesse our way round a threatened blue hole and head more to the South of Mauritius.
