Took down the BiSymmetric at 2am as the wind went more to the North and set the jib. Through a day of brilliant sunshine and easing seas the breeze gradually lessened all day as we expect to be becalmed for quite a few hours tonight and then a nice Sou'Easter is scheduled to appear in the early hours. Pulled the paddle wheel as a discrepancy was developing between GPS speed and speed through the water. The tiny foot of a a gooseneck barnacle had attached itself near the paddle and was cleaned off but this made no difference so the speed was recalibrated to the GPS less the very small estimated current. There may be a build up ahead of the wheel which would require going over the side which is unlikely to happen unless we are totally becalmed.
