Day 68 8pm Wednesday 14th August 2019 ( UTC +2 )
The South West wind gradually increased during the night and by 2am L'Eau Commotion and I had both had enough and the storm staysail was furled. I went back and wedged myself between the backrest and the table on the lee side bunk and left the lady to handle the now gale force winds on her own. She was still doing this quite comfortably while I had a late breakfast and here I must admit I then stayed in the bunk an hour or two longer than I really should have. On a new heading by late morning more sail was gradually set till now we are under a single reefed main and jib and about to be unpleasantly becalmed in a still quite large swell. Enough grumbling. I had a peek round the corner and things are looking hunky dory.
