Day 90 7pm Thursday 5th September 2019 ( UTC-1 )
From inspection of the log I see I have been on this one course with the main to Port and the jib poled out to Starboard for a week though the speed has dropped from an average of 6.2 knots to 5.8 knots. I regularly check the forecasts through a PredictWind and this morning to my dismay the routes faded away before my eyes. Only then did I realise that I hadn't kept support up to date with my itinerary so I sent off an email asking them to look into the matter. To my delight the system was restored to fully operational the next time I looked a few hours later and of special note this was done at 10:30pm Kiwi Time on a Thursday night. Well Done!
As an aside I also purchased the Iridium Go and its aerial and the associated data plan through Predictwind and each response to any enquiry was immediate friendly and to the point.
