Yes the wind finally came in from the South West at the forecast strength of around 20 knots accompanied by quite a few showers. These were hardly squalls but in the gusts enough to dip the deck under so progressively the main was at #2 and the jib furled with only the storm staysail up forward. At the moment this is a bit light on so after dinner I might just be be brave enough to let the jib out. Maybe this surge will carry us through to the Trades albeit with a few calm patches.
