In the late evening the wind died away and 10 hours were spent not moving at all through the water but a helpful current let us cover some ground. The breeze at first just a zephyr started around 7:30am and was quite strong for a few hours but now it is almost astern and quietly carrying us along at just over six knots. To counter any chance of slewing around I put a second reef in the main and poled out the jib.
