We never actually stopped moving but at an average speed of two knots for the last 24 hours we went very close. Again the speed is too low to tell whether the hydrogenerator is going to generate anything but frustration so to make sure the batteries are not run flat we're back on the Windpilot which somewhat to my surprise is keeping us on course in the very light North Easterly. I have both the main boom well out to Starboard and also the jib poled well out to starboard. This gives a good speed considering the very light breeze and is very stable in direction so let's hope we make at least two knots through the night. Lots of sunshine and well spaced little puffy cumulus with no sign of any CuNim build up but thankfully there is an almost full moon which should give an early warning of possible squalls. And Jean - you're not wrong there!
