A Quiet Day
01 November 2019 | 210 Miles East Of Regencia, Brazil
Day 147 6pm Friday 1st November 2019 ( UTC-2 )
The gentle quartering breeze that carried us through the night gradually dwindled to nothing by the early afternoon but despite that we still made close to 90 miles for the day. Hopefully the zephyr from the South which is just starting with the sun going down is the forerunner of the forecast light East to South Easterly which all the programs say should set in between 8pm and midnight. Broke out another 20 litre drum of methylated spirits and the 72 litres now remaining on board should be more than adequate to provide lots of hot water bottles in Southern latitudes though I donât think it should be too cold in December.
