Day 164 5pm Monday 18th November 2019 ( UTC-3 )
A nice run through the night was followed by a solid slog to windward all day with a good average of over six knots under single reefed main and storm staysail. I mention storm staysail quite often as it is labelled as such and coloured red but I think it could have been designed for a larger yacht. Cut flat it really complements the single reefed main in about 18 knots and the double up to 24. We are expecting 30+ knots tomorrow evening and I am thinking of just the double reefed main bare to maintain our Westing, which is going to plan as the outlook to the East of The Falklands is decidedly gnarly.
