What would have taken Jess six seconds on her machine and six minutes by hand took me all of six hours to complete but even so I was pleased to get the job done. Conditions were ideal with the jib steadying the roll in a very light South Westerly and full clear sunshine to keep me warm. With or without the main little progress could have been made but a benign Northerly is expected in a few hours but then some more calms. The temperature hasn't changed much during the day staying at about 11C so out comes the hot water bottle as the sun goes down.
