Day 175 4pm Friday 29th November 2019 ( UTC-4 )
The lift from the expected Southerly didn't quite work out. We were slowed down by the current going North and in the morning were becalmed for a few hours so didn't get down to the latitude hoped for. In the event the Southerly only lasted a few hours anyway so we have been on the wind with comfortable full sail and heading about 30 degrees to the right of our direct course to The Horn. Things are still looking good for no strong winds in the next few days. And as L'Eau Commotion slides beneath Cabo De Buena Suceso at the bottom of Fin Del Mondo it behoves me to wish Good Success to The Great Eights Of Toowong as they do battle at the bottom of their own grand land.
