After a pleasant night sail under jib and single reefed main early morning saw the time to furl the jib and set the smaller staysail. The temptation to carry on to the North East was also resisted and we went about on an offshore tack to make sure we didn't get too close to land as the Northerly was forecast to be stronger there. Memories are still fresh of the hurricane force winds experienced at this location in Raconteur, the strongest ever met with in my yachting days. The fresh Northerly should ease and back to the West after midnight to give a nice reach up to the Storied Isles
