Though travelling slowly at times we just managed the even ton since my last report with hopes of a more respectable score starting from now with the very gentle SE breeze promising to get a bit of body. It is a beautiful sunny afternoon and being less under the influence of any cold currents the sea is a sparkling blue. I have the lure out but just quietly, after eating more than my fair share of tuna over the preceding four days, if nothing jumps on the line I won't be too disappointed. It is still a toss up whether I should be more North but for the present this 30S latitude seems OK. As a New Years resolution and first thing after the First I will definitely do a stores list but as the bulk is now in five fish crates in the saloon no surprises are expected and the two crates of reserve down aft should remain just that.
