Westward Slowly

In the light airs since I last wrote most of the time has been spent just trying to keep the sails full and thus the rather off course to the North last night. The early promise of a breeze today faded away and the only way we can keep on course is by using the autopilot, making around three knots to the West, and these conditions are likely to continue for the rest of the year. Mind you it's all very comfortable and I was graced for most of the morning by the company of three Bosun Birds idly chatting to each other as they fluttered around L'Eau Commotion at mast height.
