In the interests of complexity I have decided to calculate my estimated time of arrival ( ETA ) at the Gold Coast Seaway based on the difference of the distance to go at this time one week ago and the distance to go at the present with minor adjustments due to changing time zones. Above are the calcs. John sixty years ago I flew from Adelaide to Perth in a Vickers Viscount and indeed it is a long way with the crew dropping in at Forrest for a comfort stop. It was a long way then and just as far now in a little Corby.
