Day 256 7am Wednesday 19th February 2020 ( UTC +11 )
ETA 3:30pm Friday 21st February 2020 ( UTC +10 )( * )
With the best brains in the business unable to agree on an ETA this leaves me all at sea. One thing I am sure about is I don't want to repeat the conclusion of my last circumnavigation with the small coterie of die hard fans on the graveyard shift slowly dwindling away as I struggled to make headway. An important factor is the due notification to Border Force and Quarantine who needless to say don't have the time or patience for such trivialities so by this time tomorrow I should firm up an Actual Time of Arrival. In the meantime we are travelling nicely on track with the Asymmetrical poled to Port with the single reefed main also to Port. The wind is expected to ease and back further to the North this afternoon when I will hoist the now sewn up jib.
* The mean of the ETA's of PredictWind PWG,PWE,GFS and ECMWF.
