Safe Night On Anchor Across the Bay

I headed out in the dark by myself and cruised slowly across the bay while i figured out how to adjust the brightness on my electronic instruments from day to night. Enjoyed dinner on deck on the water on a beautiful relatively calm night. Slept soundly in the forepeak and awoke at first light. I was able to monitor depth and position on GPS and radar remotely from my phone at the other end of the sailboat all night. Sublime. Wrote in my journal then this while I watch the sun come up behind the mountains and rise to light the sea with desert daytime splendor. I'm hoping to go sailing today.
