Lemons Way

Continuing adventures, observations, and images.

View from my parents' Tucson home at dusk

My family and I have begun the joyful project to replace, replenish, and renew the children's toys. The simple pleasure of allowing a child to choose their own toy and then making that wish a reality. And for the first time ever I got to be tooth fairy earlier this week. Being a parent is the greatest adventure yet. No offense, but refitting, living on, and cruising sailboats, while awesome, pales in comparison. As I've mentioned before on this blog, there are actually a lot of similarities, like getting woken a lot in the middle of the night. I've awoken to children in my bed regularly, but usually a gentle kiss and walk back to their own bed and a few minutes of cuddle and they are deep asleep again. Wish I could say the same for this middle aged dude. Worth it.
