Waiting on parts

I'm reaching the point where I'd like to get this refit done and do more sailing. That prop, it eludes me. Always seemingly on its way, but isn't yet as far as I know. You would think I'm cruising at a remote island, but I'm working and parenting in Tucson. Not actually cruising in any real way. The only way I can self actualize in these times is order and await parts, while awaiting the prop. There will be much to do when this blessed prop arrives and the sailboat goes into the work area yet again for weeks I would expect. On my end it takes patience but I am also blessed to be able to take people through the valley of despair in my work and to continue doing some of the things I enjoy most otherwise, while not sailing. Most of my sailing and cruising life has been spent not sailing and cruising. I hope that doesn't change soon. In the meantime, refit. Seriously though, this coming spring and summer may be ripe for more sailboat and sailing trips outside dock 18.
