I love when it gets to this point, when the bottom paint is on and still shiny. This is when the imagination soars. Reality, on the other hand, prevails, and it says there isn't a low enough tide to put her in until at least Monday, and possibly later, meaning another five day block on the sailboat off the calendar. I do have a prop to bring down, and some other odds and ends to install, so we'll see what happens. It just won't be sailing. But photographs from Manuel reflect this five year refit is plodding forward, piece by piece. I've been feeling like there are yet possibilities for adventure in this life.
