Caleb's Sailboat

I spent this morning and then a good part of this afternoon talking and mostly listening to my old sailing buddy, Caleb Smiley. Yes that's actually his last name. He was putting a new float in the carburetor in his' 69 Ford truck. He's wintering at the dock in Marina San Carlos. He was previously in the anchorage, but his dinghy died and he's having trouble with his knee, so he's at the dock. He would normally be across the Baja in some place or another, but with covid, cruising thus season is off for many people, many of which are old folks like Caleb.
