Sunday morning gathering at Barricuda Bob's at Marina San Carlos. Met old friend Caleb for coffee and then breakfast. He suggested some places but I took us to fancy Marina Terra Hotel breakfast. It was nice. Mine was great, his buffet, so so. And then it got super crowded, reminding us how popular San Carlos has become with the growing interest from Mexicans. The early part of the day was spent with friends and then having a big lunch of two shredded beef burritos at one food stall and hamburger and fries at another, finishing with candied nuts and a whole big hunk bar, which is still widely available here. I remember my Sephardic Uncle Sol introduced me to those. Found nougat again with Sarah on the trip to Spain and Morocco. Those cultures' influebce extends to here and now. That all led me to a restful afternoon napping and reading. Quiet dinner at sunset, a forgettable movie trying out the new big screen and surround sound (still working on the sound), and a sound sleep until early morning. Another trip to Oz.
