After a very long time waiting for the right conditions I took OZ sailing yesterday afternoon. I've spent so much time and effort getting the diesel propulsion system perfected I forgot this sailboat sails like a dream, fast, relatively quiet, and efficient. The conditions were perfect. 10-12 knots of wind, calm seas in the bay, and wonderful warm breeze on my skin. The look on my face pretty much says it all. When the wind died at sunset, another sailboat showed me how to enjoy the spectacular sunset show from the water before heading in to a dinner of two Mexican hotdogs and two carna asada tacos.
