Whiling away the time

Reminds me of summer in the deep south. Air conditioner has been going practically non stop since I got here. I'm outside having coffee and it's bearable because it's early, just after 6 am. Predict wind app says the wind just after noon is going to be best for lasering. Now that I want wind it eludes me. Sailing.. I've been working a lot during the days, and today includes two court hearings. And yet, I do so enjoy the time here in the scenic pueblo. I'm so very blessed to be able to practice family law when I'm here. OMG, I can tell from the way it feels already it is going to be the kind of day best spent inside in air conditioning and/or on the water. The coffee is hot and good. The morning is simple, clean, and brings the hope of another good day on the sailboat, where every day is a blessing and a great privilege. Going to motivate towards a morning walk to and along the beach. Picture shows some of the wonderful tropical flowers people grow here. They blossom when it gets really hot and humid. It's kind of a metaphor for this place entirely. It takes a while to get here and it's hot and humid, which keeps most people away. For those who push through and stick around, there are wonders which can only truly be appreciated this time of year. That being said, I'm headed below for some AC.
