First day of school. 2nd and 5th grade. Wow, time flies. Alternating weeks are over and we're back to the regular school schedule. Lots of good experiences this past summer. Relaxation, swimming, some friends, lots of heathly home cooked food, getting to know each other better and in diffferent ways, some travel and adventure, and overall a safe and good summer. I'm enjoying coffee in the backyard as the sun rises on this sunny late summer day. It feels dry and less humid this morning. A feeling of sadness that the summer vacation from school is over but excitement for the new school year and glad the kids are going to be doing something more productive. They have become like couch potatoes. The picture shows the homemade yougart I've been making and enjoing with fruit. Kids love it too.
