Filling prescriptions in Mexico

Walgreens wanted to charge me $120 for a monthly supply of just one generic medication at their regular rate. Thats like 100 times profit. Over the counter price here was 100 pesos per month per prescription, or $10 for both for a month's supply. What the hell is going on in the US. Most people cannot afford this medicine without good insurance. Even with I've been payong twice as much in the US per month for my prescribed medicines as it costs for the same medications in Mexico, without any insurance discount. No more. From now on I'm buying my medication here. I read yesterday that Guaymas is in the top 10% of least expensive places to live on Earth, while Tucson is on the opposite end of the scale. $500 a month estimate for a family to live in Guaymas, $3,500 per month for that family to live in Tucson. I'm literally living in two worlds.
