And just like that, after 3 weeks away from the sailboat, the fall weather has come to the northern Sea of Cortez. It happens like that in the middle of October. Sometimes a little later in the month, sometimes a little bit earlier, like this time. The sun has just about set and it is cool with a cool breeze tonight. I'm outside on deck enjoying the fading light. Quick drive down here, less than 6 hours door to door. Dropped my things at the sailboat, headed out to do a little grocery shopping, then a long chat with family before settling down for the night. I have some of my regular favorite Mexican grocery foods to cook and eat tonight onboard. The birds are circling in the breeze over the water before nightfall. The sailboat is in very good condition overall. I actually feel a little chilly sitting outside tonight. Another long, hot, humid summer in San Carlos enjoyed from the magical world of OZ. She jas truly been a refuge this past year, not from actual storms, but from the storms of life.
