Dancing in Miami

Perhaps I do like social events after all, under the right circumstances. It's like people are starving for human connection and I am actually a human connector. We all are. Who would have thought. Be that as it may, this did turn out to be more fun overall than I imagined. So much is about intention but it is also so much about other people. Yet another good example of my intentions replaced by an even better reality I did not plan. This is the preferred way. It's not exactly letting the universe take over because we are an active part. The difference is we do not so much plan what happens, nor do we control the outcome. We just go boldly forward to what may be and see what comes of it. If every city I experience has an iconic image or memory for me, Miami is dancing. Maybe it's the tropical air, the music, certainly the people, but even I got caught up in it. My parents danced at so many parties and events. I can vividly remember my father dancing with my sister Kimberly. God willing, I will continue this tradition with my daughter and son. It is so crazy how life works. A million, billion wheels have to turn just so in order for two kids to meet, get married, and have a healthy child. Another zillion wheels have to turn just so to get us from there to here. Yet we completely take that for granted. Maybe it is best not to think too much. But I do, you know I do dear blog groupies. And that's why we come here. Let's all dance a whole lot more from now on, and honor all our parents and their memory in that way.
