I spent my first evening at Q2 last night, and it was definitely more comfortable. Was treated to a little housewarming party on the very first afternoon, then settled down to a quiet evening in my new digs. It took a little getting used to, but it is much roomier and stable feeling and eventually it will be nicer than the sailboat entirely. The regular toilet is an absolute blessing compared to the one we pump out next to the sailboat in the confined space onboard OZ. Indeed, the regular bathroom and shower and sink are all really nice compared to the ones on the sailboat, and I haven't even started upgrading. Slept until 730 this morning, which is late for me. I'm currently enjoying coffee on the margarita deck overlooking Tetuakowi in the distance and the mountains surrounding San Carlos closer up. There is no marine smell here. It is dryer up here away from the ocean, though I can see it in the distance. Time to take a first walk around the neighborhood, then a hearty breakfast. Cherio, blog groupies. Life goes on and a little bit of a new chapter has quietly begun. Peace and blessings to you.
