Our Skipper

Shaun
Hi
Our Skipper is John Titterton. John is a very experienced skipper who has many deliveries behind him. John is a really smart guy who knows lots about lots of things. He is also a Radio Ham and holds the call ZS1JNT.

I met John through ham radio when he came to join our club the Cape Town Amateur Radio Centre, www.ctarc.org.za As soon as I heard that John did yacht deliveries I asked, no begged John to take me on one of his delveries. The first trip I was supposed to go on was cancelled. The next trip I had to forego as my Brother fell ill on the eve of our departure. John was very understanding and found a replacement 1st mate in double quick time.

John keeps a Blog on this same website, www.sailblogs.com/member/deliveries

The pale, grey fellow in the pic is John. This picture was taken during his latest delivery, here he is navigating the Panama Canal with one of the Panama pilots en-route to the Galapagos Islands.
