Is that you Sheldon?

Cheryl's Notes:
We got up this morning and headed north to Myrtle Beach. We made a reservation at Barefoot Landing so that we could do a little shopping. This will also be our last chance for going ashore until we get home. We got to Barefoot Landing and all of the empty spots were taken up by day trippers that stopped to shop and have dinner. We ended up rafted up to a 38 foot Bayliner that belongs to one of the dockmasters. He said that they would try to move us to dock space when it opened up. We told them not to bother, that we would just stay where we are. This is actually easier than trying to get away from the dock in the morning. We took the picture of the turtles for Megan. Do you think that one of these guys is Sheldon?
Tomorrow will start our journey down the home stretch. We have each day planned out to make the best use of the tides and currents for the area.
John's Notes:
Another great day. No navigation issues today. Rafting up to another boat was no big deal. We are getting better and better at tight quarters boat handling. But, don't take that to mean that I look forward to maneuvering in tight quarters. My father got paid for that. Me, I'm just a novice cruiser.
We are only about 190 miles from home. It will be good to be back and take a break from the daily routine that has to be followed while cruising. When you are miles from home and possibly miles from the nearest help, anything that goes wrong turns into a major event.
Can't wait to see our dock neighbors and great friends.
