As the last blog wrote about, the major boat projects are now done and I am just putzing around the boat, doing whatever I can find. We are still waiting for the outboard repairs to be completed. That should be done tomorrow and it should be remounted on our dinghy then but we shall see…

Yesterday afternoon, when the life raft was returned to us, Mary Margaret and I swayed it back onto Leu Cat. It sits in a little cubby hole in the stern of the boat. The life raft is in a hard case and it is too heavy for me to lift by myself. Thus, with Mary Margaret manning the electric winch, we were able to sway the darn thing into its cubby hole. Even with the help of the electric winch it was hard work and we were bushed once the thing was safely sitting in its place. I was too tired to tie it so that it would not slide out of its cubby hole during heavy seas so I left that task to today. It took about an hour to tie it up but now that task is completed.

I still have a number of neat underwater photos from when we were in the Cousteau Marine Reserve last month to post. Thus, I will post a few each day going forward until they are all posted.
