13 July 2011 | Somewhere between Newfoundland and Kap Farvel
No picture today – but just imagine an all encompassing grey. Dark grey sea, light grey fog, white boat. No cargos, no whales, no birds, no fishing buoys, no nothing, just grey. Grey drizzle.
The last two days were rather cold at 5 C as we were crossing the cold Labrador current (water temperature 5-6 C(, but today it got a bit warmer again, influence of the gulf stream? Water around 9 C. 84% humidity. Had winds up wo 44 Knlast night, waves up to 3m, fortunately it is calming down again, winds mostly SSE to SSW. 400 Nm behind u, another 500-700Nm to go to Greenland.
