Wow, finally we picked up our lines and left Cascais Marina after an extended 11 day stay. We got a lot done here. All open issues with the boat and its installation of equipment were addressed. Back to sea where the seas are running 10-12 feet and the wind averaging 25 knots. Lots of action today. We jibed a gillion times. Wrapped the genoa and made quite a mess. Straightened that out, put out the jib and the wind increased to 30. So after putting out a full main we are now down to the third reef and getting ready to furl the jib a bit and get ready for the night. We are going well offshore to clear the corner of Portugal and we will be heading straight to Africa.
