Schooner Liberty passes USCG Inspection

24 October 2009 | Yank Marina - Dorchester, NJ
After being hauled out on Wednesday, the crew was busy preparing for the USCG inspection. All floorboards were removed to give access to the hull, and all pipes attached to the through-hulls were removed so that the Coasties can shine a light into them from the outside.

They arrived and immediately looked at the propeller before it was sent out to be re-conditioned. Then they checked the hull, and rigging, before reviewing the mechanicals.

After about 3 hours, they signed off the schooner Liberty as having passed the inspection with flying colors.
