You are invited.
Join the crew of the Liberty Schooner and the crews of many other great tall ships October 15-18, 2008 as we sail from New York City to Baltimore and then race down the Chesapeake Bay to Norfolk, VA. It's the opportunity of a lifetime for the sailor in you.
We will be able to accommodate up to 4 passengers. We depart NYC on Saturday, October 11th, sometime in the morning depending on weather and tides, and are expected in Baltimore on Monday, October 13th in the afternoon/evening.

Wednesday, October 15:
0900 Education Program -Selected schooners host students for a hands-on learning experience.
1200 All schooners docked in Fells Point.
1400 All Hands Briefing aboard the Norfolk Rebel.
1600 Schooners undock & rendezvous for Parade of Sail.
1700 Parade of Sail through the Inner Harbor & Fells Point.
1930 All Hands Party in Fells Point.
2200 Sailors' Evening dockside.
Thursday, October 16:
0800 Mandatory Skippers' Meeting in the middle of Broadway Square. Immediately following, schooner crews prepare to cast off & proceed to start.
1300 Race begins just south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis. Finish line is an East-West line at Thimble Shoal Light & proceed to docking in Portsmouth, VA. VIRGINIA
Saturday, October 18:
0900 Education Program-Selected schooners host students for a hands-on learning experience.
1300 Oyster & Pig Roast & Awards Ceremony.
2100 Sailors' Evening dockside.
Sunday, October 19:
0800 Schooner Captains' Debriefing followed by breakfast for captains & crew at Roger Brown's. Schooners depart as desired.
