On Sunday, we had the privilege of hosting the distribution of ashes for the friends and family of Colet. This was the third time the Liberty Schooner has been called upon to facilitate the wishes of a family whose loved one has passed away.

The atmosphere aboard was warm, and comforting, and everybody thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. It seems we have been blessed with the ability of being able to match the mood aboard with the event, so that although it was a time of grieving, there was also optimism, and celebration of a wonderful person.

The crew performed well, including Sarah, a new crew member for a day, and a big thanks to Captain Bill who drove up all the way just for this sail, and brought Mizzen for the kids.
