Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race Crew

19 October 2008 | Portsmouth, VA
Philip
I am very proud of the crew of the Liberty Schooner that competed in our first Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. There were over 50 Schooners competing in a week long schedule of festivities and events, culminating in the race itself from Baltimore, MD, to Portsmouth, VA. We came in 4th on elapsed time and on handicap out of 15 schooners in our class. Fun was had by all.

The friendships and personal growth experienced by every crew member will be the lasting impression they take away with them. The Liberty Schooner once again lived up to its mission of being an environment for life transformation.
