Dear friends of the Liberty Schooner

The crew wishes you a very happy Thanksgiving! There is so much to be grateful for, and it is worth taking a few moments to remember, and be thankful.

We on the Liberty are particularly thankful for you. You made this past season so memorable.

Right now the Liberty Schooner is in the shipyard in Leesburg NJ. We are preparing to be hauled out early next week. To get ready, we have down-rigged, and prepared the spars for winter refurbishment. Also, a big project we have worked on was the removal of the cast iron stove in the Galley and owners cabin, and used that space to install a set of shelves and cabinets. Captain Bill, is more than just a great captain, he is handy with tools, and has knocked the new cabinetry out in the last few days.

The picture was taken today at sunset. The awesome beauty of this place helps to put life in perspective.
