Captain's Log Day 3
22 May 2015 | 300 nm East of Bermuda
Were back on the open ocean again. The sailing so far has been pretty good. The wind a little to far behind so we spent the first 1.2 days Gybing back and forth to keep up a decent speed.
The wind swung about 25' to the south last night so now we are broad reaching parallel to the rhumb line at about 7 knots over ground.
The weather looks like we are going to run into some lighter winds in a couple of days but for now we are really happy we've decided to stay the southerly route and don't have to deal with the forming gale to the north.
We've started sail at about 7 knots VMG so we should see some respectable distances over the next couple of days :_
