COLD !!!!

Hi everyone. We are still in the Florida Keys. Sorry I haven't updated the blog lately but I guess I just got lazy. We had a good Christmas and New Year. The marina hosted a Christmas day lunch which we enjoyed. Shortly after New Year the weather got cold. Lows in the upper 40's, highs around upper 50's to low 60's. Today is warm but it is supposed to get cold again tomorrow. I know that doesn't sound cold compared to what the rest of the USA is experiencing but the wind on the water makes it feel much colder. Also we didn't bring very many winter clothes with us. Flip Flops and socks are not too stylish. We actually went to the Salvation Army thrift store and bought a couple of long sleeved shirts and sweaters. Since it seems we are stuck here due to the unrelenting north wind and its too cold to do anything else, we decided to rent a car for the week and tour the area.
