Merry Christmas

24 December 2017
We are still in Marathon. Nicholas is here spending Christmas with us. We are happy to have him here with us for Christmas. He is enjoying fishing and the warm weather.

We have been busy and the time has flown. We have been here almost a month now. Nick is planning to stay through New Year. We will wait for a weather window after that for crossing to the Bahamas.

Made a day trip to Key West with friends. The picture above was taken on the Key West waterfront.

Saw lots of Irma damage on the way there, mostly in Big Pine Key but Key West was hardly damaged and was back in full swing. Things here in Marathon have improved greatly since we got here a month ago and most everything is back to normal. The mooring field was only about 50% full when we got here but has really filled up the last week or so. Most of our pals from last year have made it back this year so we are having fun catching up with them. Have even convinced a few to cross to the Bahamas with us.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
