Summer Building Project

17 August 2018
After leaving our boat on the hard in Florida we returned home to LA for 2 weeks before leaving for Arkansas. We spent the month of July in the Ozarks helping our friends build a log cabin. Lots of work but interesting. We weren't able to stay until completion but were able to help them get a good bit done. The area where they are building is very beautiful but too far off the beaten path for us. Their cabin is going to be awesome once they finish. Hopefully next summer we can go for a visit and see the completed project.

While we were in Arkansas we took a side trip to visit friends who live on Greers Ferry Lake. They took us on a boat ride around the lake. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains. Had a great time. Felt great to be back on the water.
