Thomson Dream
15 July 2016
And so at 5:45am we pulled up the anchor and motored over to watch the Thomson Dream arrive alongside the cruise jetty. Looking through the binoculars we could see Alice on the aft mooring station. We were able to wave to one another. Very emotional.
We then went round to the south of Corfu town to anchor - thunderstorms were forecast so we were both a bit nervous about leaving Lily all day at an anchorage. In hindsight it was all fine.
We arrived at the ship at midday, very hot and sweaty, having walked all the way there so the air conditioned ship was a luxury I really enjoyed. And of course being with Alice and Sveto!
We spent all day there, watching all the new guests arriving and getting lost on the ship, catching up with Alice's news. She is really happy in her new job as safety officer and we're really proud of her.
