Possible Change of Plans
03 August 2013 | Port McNeil Harbor, Vancouver Island
We have just spent the past couple of days refueling, reprovisioning and completing other small boat projects before we head out tomorrow morning for Bull Harbour, the jumping off point for almost everyone heading around Cape Scott and down the west side of the Island. We expect to be out of touch again as we explore the west side for most of August.
We have fallen in love with this area so much that we are seriously considering spending another season as live-aboards somewhere in the rain shadow of Vancouver Island. This would mean we could leave next spring and explore southeast Alaska since we left too late this year to accomplish that. It would take a lifetime to visit all of the anchorages the BC coast has to offer. Will keep you updated as we know more ourselves.
The other day, we saw a power boat named "No Sheet." Get it?
