The fun times aboard Liquid Therapy. With - Susan and Brooke Smith

DaY 22 OF OUR GREAT ADVENTURE

We had a great run from our anchorage at Butler Island to Price Creek. We are in striking distance of Charleston and probably will head that way when the tide shifts. It's about a 15 mile run so we are in no hurry. Last night was a little harrowing! After the Price Creek anchoring was completed in view of the ocean, we enjoyed the smell of the salt water, ate a nice dinner and caught up on emails, etc. Around 10PM, we noticed we were about to back over two crusty mooring buoys, so had to re-anchor , in the pitch black!! Not fun, but we had plenty of water. Afterwards, set THREE anchor alarms and awaited the thunderstorms and winds. Brooke was up checking things almost all night. We are fine and may move on in to Charleston and wait for Lindsey and Jim to arrive tomorrow. Susan is cooking a small Thanksgiving dinner on board. Friday, we will tour Charleston and end up having dinner at the Vendue Inn, where Carter and Nelson spent their honeymoon!!
Picture is our anchorage in Price creek looking at the Atlantic Ocean across the inlet bar. This inlet does not have a well defined channel for general boating to the Atlantic. Still a pretty spot.
