The fun times aboard Liquid Therapy. With - Susan and Brooke Smith

2020 Fall Cruise Tuesday September 22. 2020

0 Miles T-12 hours and counting -

Weather looks good for departure tomorrow morning around 11AM or so. Been checking the weather several times today. Barometer has fallen to 30.06” That means the wind HAS to calm down. Well unless it doesn’t. But it should. Yep it should.

Got 100 gallons of diesel for our engine, 2 gallons of gasoline for our dinghy motor and a propane tank for our grill and pumped out the holding tank. Yes friends, there is nothing quite as nice as having a pumped out holding tank all fresh and ready for the go.

While laying with our starboard side to the fuel dock Susan noticed scuffs and scratches all down the starboard side of Liquid Therapy. Where did they come from? We seldom see our starboard side as we try to dock port side to the dock. It really looks like a collision with another boat. Maybe a hit a run. Nothing structural, But darn we have no clue of where or when this happened.

I got the flybridge back enclosure installed today and cleaned it. Cleaning clear vinyl just wears your arms out. Micro-fleece is the thing to clean with. But, sometimes I think my beta blocker medicine doesn’t want me to move my arms that much. Anyhow it’s pretty clean.

Time to make log entries of where we are headed tomorrow with the details, load the route into the chart plotter, and be ready to execute our passage. Or, better to think of this as “where are we eating tomorrow night?”

Today’s picture is Liquid Therapy eager to get going.
