Didn’t write a blog yesterday because it was raining and raining and raining. Liquid Therapy doesn’t like the rain and leaks in places that I can’t easily fix. So, yesterday was fighting drips in places and wondering where the water is coming from.

Today we might have had an OK day riding the Pamlico Sound to Ocracoke. But, tomorrow is going to be a very nice day and we are in no hurry. So, Tomorrow OCRACOKE!

Laundry day today. Liquid Therapy has a washer but no dryer. So, we washed on the boat and dried in the marina laundry.

Hey this is pretty boring isn’t it? Telling you about doing laundry?

Well we almost went for a holding tank pump out. No matter what I tell you about laundry, well,, pumping out it’s disgusting. Pumping out your poop and watching it go by in a site tube. Gong, uh, uh, I don’t remember eating that as it goes by. Must have been Susan’s.

So, I’m having a nice cranberry Martini while writing. Kind of like Papa Hemingway. I read he actually had freezers on his boat to keep his various boozes at various temperatures. Someone fact check that if you want to. We don’t do that. Well, not yet anyway.

So, tomorrow we are headed all the way to Ocracoke. It’s pretty confusing path from here to the Pamlico with shoaling of course in particular confusing places ( 4 channels Roanoke Sound, Oregon Inlet Channel, Old House Channel, Pamlico Sound, sort of merging. What the hell side of that marker am I supposed to go on?

Anyhow, we are set. I drained my starboard fuel filter that had a little crud in it. Oil is filled. Boat is ready and crew is ready to move the Liquid Therapy condo to Ocracoke - One of our favorite places on this earth. That’s saying something. We have had Liquid Therapy to the Bahamas twice and the Fl, Keys 3 times. And, Ocracoke, well it is something special.

Today’s picture is ME... A tourist took that picture as I was filling Liquid Therapy’s water tanks. Look at that arthritis in my left hand. Tough playing pedal steel with a hand like that. And, the hair? No haircut since January. Well I took a whack at it, once. It looks like Joe Biden in the back.
