Rebecca T ready to go

This is RT at the dock in Haines loaded for bear. Not a good metaphore in AK I guess.

It's about time to update this thing if I'm gonna do it at all. Made it to Prince Rupert July of 2012 just in time for a crash course in Yanmar transmissions. Couldn't have happened in a better place. Adopted by Marty and Mae at the local sailing club, not to be confused with the snooty yacht club. Learned all about shaft alignment, stuffing boxes, engine removal etc. I can pop that dude out in a day by myself.

Abandoned RT in the care of Marty and Mae for some autumnal R&R for a conjugal visit back in Tennessee after a relaxing ferry trip back up to Haines. Took about one day per month of the trip down. Had a fine visit with grand daughter Sophia and her parents (son Andy and wife Jessica). Then drove the old Mazda back home with a spare tranny to practice on over the winter.

Flew back to Haines for Spring visit with Sophia et al and back down on the Ferry to rescue RT. Got an excellent hand-me-down camera from Andy so the only excuse I have left for no or poor photographs is rank stupidity. I'm working on it now - the photography that is. Already have a handle on the stupid part.

Can't say enough about M&M. There are cruisers around the globe who have met their grace and good cheer.
